How do I get a sample analysed for asbestos?

Our surveyor will carefully take a small amount of the material and seal the area. The sample is sent to a specialist laboratory where it is tested using polarized light microscopy and the results are provided in a certificate of analysis.

How much does it cost to test for asbestos?

The actual analysis or test is relatively inexpensive. There will however be a cost for the surveyor to attend site and take the sample. All surveyors who do this are highly trained and experienced.
